Specifics about 360 Clarity
360 Clarity's Approach and Services
Leadership coaching is a structured, confidential partnership focused on improving how a leader shows up for their team. KPI's are important, but not the only indicator of leadership effectiveness. At 360 Clarity, each engagement starts with an honest assessment of where you are now, followed by targeted sessions designed around your real-world challenges, not a generic curriculum.
Therapy primarily focuses on the past; training delivers knowledge; mentoring shares someone else's experience. Coaching is a forward-looking process where the client is the expert on themselves and is ultimately responsible for their own decisions. Dr. Sam's role is to help you recognize what you can't see on your own, and act on it faster.
You can't read the label if you're inside the box.
Effective engagements are no shorter than six months. 360 Clarity requires a 3-month minimum because that is the minimum amount of time, meeting approximately weekly, where behavior change can be observed.
360 Clarity offers programs and engagements for shorter and longer terms needs. Some clients appreciate the 3 month engagement. Others stay with Dr. Sam's coaching for years.
Sessions are appropriately focused and are based on the needs of the client and/or the fieldwork they have engaged in since the previous session. Dr. Sam brings unwavering focus on you to help you make meaning of your progress, set specific expectations for the next week, and help you prepare for rough spots you see coming. You leave each session with clear purpose and the tools to make progress on your goals.
Yes. Dr. Sam is twice certified with the International Coaching Federation which holds a specific set of ethical guidelines that prioritize client confidentiality, allowing clients to discuss sensitive issues openly without fear of information being shared outside the coaching relationship.
For organizational engagements, the scope of any reporting to sponsors is agreed upon before the work begins which will typically not include specifics about what was discussed and will lean more toward whether the client is attending and is engaged in the process.
Some sponsors believe that if they're paying for the session, they should get specific information about the person being coached.
Dr. Sam is an ethically-bound coach, not a spy.
A note about confidentiality; should there be imminent risk of harm to self or others, Dr. Sam has to report that.
